Ololo tasks youths on self-sustenance  | IMO STATE GOVERNMENT

Imo State Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon Mrs. Ogechi Ololo has charged Nigerian youths to shun vices and channel their strength on ideas that will make them succeed in life.
Ololo was speaking weekend, when the leadership of the youth wing of Ohaneze Ndigbo paid her a courtesy call in her office.
The Deputy Chief of Staff described as appalling the excesses of most youths in the name of youthful exuberance, noting that such acts make them to be considered as thugs who have no value in the society.
She urged Nigerian youths to be resolute and device better means to make ends meet, rather than depend on other people for pecuniary gifts and favours.
Ololo expressed satisfaction that the group is holding its summit soon and urged them to use the opportunity to impact positively on youths.
She recalled the role of Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha in uniting Ohaneze Ndigbo.
“His Excellency is a man who has united Ohaneze, you all can bear witness to that. He played a very crucial role in the unity of Ohaneze and he is building Ohaneze Center in Enugu. He is a man that we cannot talk about Ohaneze without mentioning his name. He will support you.”
Earlier, the youth leader, Egbechue Kingsley noted that the visit was in view of their forthcoming summit slated for November 11.
He said that participation in the summit is targeted at youth leaders and delegates from various institutions and youth organizations in the state and however, solicited for her support in some areas.
Lending his voice, the Deputy Youth Leader and Local Organizing Committee Chairman, Oparandudu Eustace hinted that the aim of the summit is primarily to sensitize Imo State youths on the values and ideals of the need to restructure the country in consonance with the worldview of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide and the Southeast Governor’s Forum.
Oparandudu informed that Hon Ololo has been chosen to deliver the keynote address. “The Guest Speaker is Prof Chinedu Nwajiuba of Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo, Ebonyi State, while the Archbishop of Owerri Catholic Archdiocese, AJV Obinna will declare the summit open with an address. Governor Rochas Okorocha is the Chief Host and President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo John Nnia Nwodo will also be in attendance.”
