Okorocha approves N2 billion for rehabilitation of oil communities | IMO STATE GOVERNMENT

Imo State government has approved the sum of N2billion for rehabilitation of infrastructure in Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta local councils of the state.

Governor Rochas Okorocha announced this when members of the State Amnesty Committee visited him at the Government House, Owerri, to brief him on the development in the area.

He disclosed that his administration would soon launch a programme tagged ‘’Recovery of Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta councils” where a state of emergency would be declared on infrastructure and job creation in the two oil producing councils.

Okorocha stressed that during the period, officials of government would relocate to the areas for 30 days to ensure quick completion of the mapped out projects.

According to him, the over 1,000 repentant youths would mount surveillance on oil pipelines to safeguard the facilities. He expressed optimism that the committee on amnesty chaired by his wife, Nkechi, had worked hard to produce a blue print for the development and restoration of normalcy in the areas.

Speaking earlier, the wife of the governor, said the committee had recommended the building of schools, health centres and recruitment of teachers and health workers in the areas.

On his part, the member representing Oguta constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Henry Ezediaro, said the initiative of the governor and template given to them assisted the committee in executing the mandate.

Suspected Criminal Gang Attacks Court In Imo, Sets Accused ‘Vampire’ Free

Why will Imo-State Government keep a harden criminal and kidnapper in custody till date, why have the government refuse to kill him, this is the question Channels TV should ask to the Governor of Imo-State,
Like other governors in Anambra, Enugu, Abia and so on will give others to kill this notorious criminal and kidnapper, why will they lock him up knowing one day they will make such plans to release him, this is just a well plan escape arranged by Imo-State Government,
I believe the said notorious criminal and kidnapper Henry Chibueze, also known as Vampire is working for the Governor of Imo-state. He have been using the Kidnapper Henry Chibueze and now he release him to use him for the upcoming 2019 Election.

Mr kingslay Madu, remember that Nigeria Prisons where Vampire was kept is a Federal Government Agency. His escape is purely an act of sabotage and has nothing to do with Imo State Government, you know in every twelve there must be a Judas.
He was brought to court for trial so that justice will prevail before his gang outsmarted them. I think the security agents present at the court premises were wise not to attack back because it may lead to open confrontation that will destroy the lives of innocent people
Remember the case of a Colombian drug baron Elchapo who was whisked away from prison by his gang through a long tunnel they dug.

Mr. Kingsley Madu, your allegation is unthinkable for any progressive-minded government. It is malicious and misleading. For your information, the rescue mission government of Owelle Rochas Okorocha has done so much to beef up security in the state. Recall that on assumption into office as the governor, he engaged over 10,000 Imo youths into Imo Security Network, ISN,Imo Civil Guard and the rest just to help combat crime to a standstill.
